New Delhi, Nov 17: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested another key associate linked to the Red Fort area car bomb blast, intensifying its probe into the attack that killed 10 people and injured 32 earlier this year.
The accused, Jasir Bilal Wani alias Danish, a resident of Qazigund, Anantnag, was picked up by an NIA team from Srinagar as part of investigations in case RC-21/2025/NIA/DLI.
According to the NIA, Jasir allegedly provided technical support to the terror module by modifying drones and attempting to develop rockets for use in attacks. He is believed to have worked closely with the suicide bomber Umar un Nabi, the main perpetrator of the Red Fort bombing.
