During the meeting, the Cabinet observed a two-minute silence in memory of those who lost their lives and passed a resolution condemning the attack in the strongest terms.

In the resolution, the Cabinet described the blast as a “heinous act of terror” carried out by anti-national elements. It extended heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
