Srinagar, Oct 14: At least three persons died and two other injured after a head-on collision between an auto-rickshaw and a bus in Serli village near Katra this morning.
An official said that the accident took place on a road connecting the helipad to Katra, a key route for pilgrims visiting the revered Mata Vaishno Devi shrine.
He said that the auto-rickshaw, carrying devotees, collided with a bus that was coming from the opposite direction. “In the incident the auto-rickshaw driver and two passengers died on spot, while two others were injured,” he said.

The injured have been rushed to a nearby medical facility for treatment, he said. (KNO)
