Srinagar, Sept 25: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has predicted a prolonged dry spell across Jammu and Kashmir, beginning September 26 and continuing till October 5.
According to the forecast, weather will remain generally dry across the Union Territory, with no major rainfall expected. Temperatures are likely to stay above normal, with maximum 3 to 5°C higher and minimum 2 to 3°C higher than usual at many places till September 28, before gradually declining.

The Met Centre has also issued an advisory for farmers, asking them to go ahead with paddy harvesting and other agricultural activities as conditions will remain favourable.
