Srinagar, Sept 11: A youth was killed after his scooty collided with a CRPF vehicle on Boulevard Road near Ghat no. 17 Nehru Park, Srinagar this evening.
Reports said the accident took place when a speedy scooty collided with a parked CRPF truck on Boulevard road. The scooty rider, identified as Asif Ahmad Rather, son of Ghulam Mohi-ud-din Rather, a resident of Brain Nishat, sustained critical injuries in the mishap.
They said he was immediately shifted to SMHS Hospital for treatment, where doctors declared him dead.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident.
