Jammu, Sept 09: Constable Pardeep Sharma, popularly known as Cheeku, who was part of the J&K Police Central Sports Football Team, passed away following a sudden cardiac arrest, officials said on Tuesday.
Sharma was a valued member of the police football squad and had represented the force in several tournaments, news agency KNC reported.
Police colleagues and fellow sportspersons expressed deep shock over his untimely demise, remembering him as a dedicated player and committed policeman.
