Jammu, Sept 01: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah have assured complete support to Jammu and Kashmir as the region battles floods and heavy rains.
Sinha, who accompanied Amit Shah to survey the affected areas in Jammu, expressed sympathy with the families who lost their loved ones and those who suffered property damage.
He said both the Prime Minister and the Home Minister have promised that all possible help will be extended — from immediate relief for families to restoring damaged infrastructure and supporting people in rebuilding their lives.
