Kulgam, Aug 01: An encounter broke out on Friday evening between terrorists and a joint team of security forces in the Akhal area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
According to Kashmir Zone Police, the Special Operations Group (SOG) of J&K Police, along with the Army and CRPF, launched a joint operation in the area after receiving specific inputs.
The exchange of fire is currently going on, and further details are awaited.
