Ganderbal, July 15: Parts of a human body were recovered from the River Sindh near the Gagangir area in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, on Tuesday.

Reports said the body parts were spotted by locals who immediately informed the police. A team from Gund Police Station reached the spot and recovered the remains.

Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) teams have launched an investigation to identify the body and determine the cause of death.

Police have started a case and further investigation is underway.
