Srinagar, July 14: A 26-year-old youth from Arampora Sopore died after falling from the third floor of a house during construction work in the Neharpora area of Sopore on Sunday evening, officials said.
An official told that the deceased, identified as Tawseef Ahmad Najar, son of Ghulam Din Najar, reportedly fell while working on the shuttering of a building. The incident occurred during the afternoon hours.
He was immediately rushed to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Sopore in critical condition. Later in the evening, he was referred to SKIMS Soura for advanced treatment but succumbed to his injuries on the way, he said.
