Tehran, Jun 25: At least 627 people have been killed and 4,870 others injured in Israeli attacks on Iran between June 13 and June 25, Tasnim News Agency reported citing Iran’s Health Ministry.
The ministry said most of the victims died on the spot during the airstrikes, with Tehran and Kermanshah provinces suffering the highest number of casualties. Other badly hit areas include Khuzestan, Lorestan, Isfahan, Markazi, East Azerbaijan, Hamedan, Zanjan, and Gilan.
The Israeli military launched a surprise war against Iran on June 21, targeting top military commanders, scientists, and many civilians, including women and children.

Iran responded with heavy strikes on Israeli cities including Tel Aviv and Haifa. The conflict ended early Tuesday morning after US President Donald Trump announced a ceasefire via his Truth social media platform, leading to Israel halting its attacks.
According to Israeli officials, 28 people were killed and over 3,000 others injured in Iran’s retaliatory strikes. Around 31,000 buildings were damaged and 4,000 vehicles destroyed, as Iran fired hundreds of missiles and drones at key Israeli sites, including a power station and an oil refinery.
