Ahmedabad, June 12: Four MBBS students and the wife of a doctor lost their lives when a London-bound Air India flight crashed into the residential area of BJ Medical College on Thursday afternoon, a senior official confirmed to PTI.
Two more MBBS students and three relatives of doctors are still missing.
The Boeing 787 Dreamliner (AI171), with more than 240 passengers and crew on board, crashed in the Meghaninagar area just after taking off from Ahmedabad airport at 1:39 PM.

“Four students living in the college hostel died. Nineteen others got injured, out of which five are in serious condition. Two third-year students are still missing,” said college dean Dr. Minakshi Parikh.
She also said that the wife of a doctor died in the incident, and two relatives of other doctors were injured. Three members of another doctor’s family are still missing. All other doctors and their relatives are safe. (PTI)
