Srinagar, May 28: The Meteorological Department has forecast light to moderate rainfall and thundershowers across several parts of Jammu and Kashmir between May 30 and 31, with chances of intense showers and gusty winds at a few locations.
An official said that a brief spell of rain and thundershower may occur at isolated places late on May 28 and continue on May 29.
From May 30 to 31, the region is likely to witness more widespread weather activity, with moderate to heavy rain, thunderstorms, and gusty winds expected at scattered places, the official added.

Between June 1 and 3, light rain and thundershowers are also expected at isolated locations across Jammu and Kashmir.
