Srinagar, May 17: In a strong message of resilience and solidarity, Anupam Mittal, founder of Shaadi.com, took to X (formerly Twitter) to support Kashmir’s tourism revival.

“What Kashmir really needs is tourists to come back so I booked my ticket! If we vanish, they win. If we travel, Kashmir & India win,” Mittal wrote, using hashtags #ChaloKashmir and #JaiHind.
Mittal’s post comes in the aftermath of the Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed lives of 26 tourists, sending shockwaves across the country. In response, Indian forces launched Operation Sindoor, a high-intensity counter-terror drive aimed at neutralizing terrorits operating across the border.
Despite the challenges, Mittal’s message is being hailed as a much-needed call to support the local economy and stand with the people of Kashmir.
With summer approaching and the Valley’s natural beauty at its peak, many now hope Mittal’s post will encourage others to follow suit and help Kashmir’s tourism sector — a key part of its economy — bounce back.
