The Indian retaliation comes after Pakistan intensified unprovoked cross-border firing along the Line of Control (LoC), deploying mortars and heavy-calibre artillery across multiple sectors in Jammu and Kashmir, including Kupwara, Baramulla, Uri, Poonch, Mendhar, and Rajouri.

According to the Ministry of Defence, the Indian response was executed with precision and matched the scale and intensity of Pakistan’s aggression.

430 Flights Cancelled, 27 Airports to Remain Shut Until May 10

Tensions along the LoC have escalated in recent days, the situation continues to be closely monitored by Indian defence forces.
