Srinagar, May 03: In a tragic incident, a truck driver from south Kashmir’s Shopian district, lost his life due to an electric shock in Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut district on Friday.
According to his family members, 20-year-old Yamin Mukhtar Shah, a resident of Wachi, Shopian was working as a truck driver when the vehicle he was operating came into contact with a live electric wire. The incident proved fatal, leading to his untimely death on the spot.

Yamin’s body has not reached to his native village, adding to the grief and anxiety of his family and community, who are eagerly awaiting his return for last rites.
