Srinagar, Mar 30: A mother and her son passed away in Kulangam, Handwara, within hours of one another in a tragic tragedy that left the local community in mourning.
According to reports, 27-year-old Mushtaq Ahmad Wani suffered a sudden heart attack while at the market. He was quickly taken to the hospital for treatment. Upon receiving the devastating news, his mother, Mala Begum, collapsed from shock and died instantly.
Mushtaq was later shifted to a hospital in Srinagar for advanced medical care. However, despite the doctors’ efforts, he succumbed to cardiac arrest.
Teenager Dies in Srinagar Road Accident
The grief-stricken family and locals attended the separate funerals—Mala Begum was laid to rest at 1 PM, followed by Mushtaq’s funeral at 4 PM.
Heartbreakingly, this tragedy occurred just a month after the death of Mushtaq’s father, adding to the family’s sorrow.
