Srinagar, Mar 20: Raja Mohammad Tasleem, District & Sessions Judge, currently serving as Special Judge UAPA Sopore, passed away on Tuesday evening at Medanta Hospital in Delhi after a brief illness.
A resident of Kathidarwaza Rainawari, Srinagar, Tasleem (58) had previously served as the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Srinagar before being appointed as the Special Judge for cases under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).
He was also the maternal uncle of Faza Zainab, Editor-in-Chief of Asian News Hub. The entire team of Asian News Hub stands in solidarity with Faza Zainab during this difficult time.
