Kupwara, Feb 06: A man was killed in a road accident in Choutipora Handwara area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district this evening.
Reports said that Parvaiz Ahmed Zarger, son of Ghulam Mohammad and a resident of Lach Mawer, met with an accident at Choutipora this evening while riding his scooty. Parvaiz, a shopkeeper by profession, sustained critical injuries in the incident.
They said Parvaiz was brought to GMC Handwara for treatment, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Minors Dies of Drowning, Another Shifted to Hospital in Baramulla
Police have taken cognizance of the incident, but the cause of the accident was not immediately known.
