In a media statement, Baramulla Police have arrested Abdul Razak Lone alias Razak Bab, son of Gh. Ahmad Lone and resident of Waripora Kunzar, following the circulation of a viral video on social media. The video showed the individual constructing a structure resembling the Holy Kaaba, which was later voluntarily demolished by local residents during the night.

Preliminary inquiries indicate that Abdul Razak may be mentally unsound. In line with due legal procedure, he will undergo a comprehensive medical evaluation. Pending the results of the assessment and requisite orders from the Executive Magistrate, he is set to be transferred to a psychiatric hospital.
