Srinagar, Jan 24: In a significant development, four individuals were convicted under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act in Case FIR No. 21/21 by the Hon’ble Court, marking a major success in the fight against drug trafficking in Jammu and Kashmir.

The convicted individuals, identified as Mohammad Aslam War, Bilal Ahmad Hanji, Mehraj-u-Din Wani, and Waqar Ahmad Dar, were found guilty of illegal possession and transportation of narcotic substances. The case was registered under Sections 8/20, 22, and 29 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Yaripora in Kulgam district.
