The convicted individuals, identified as Mohammad Aslam War, Bilal Ahmad Hanji, Mehraj-u-Din Wani, and Waqar Ahmad Dar, were found guilty of illegal possession and transportation of narcotic substances. The case was registered under Sections 8/20, 22, and 29 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Yaripora in Kulgam district.

The conviction followed a routine Nakka checking by vigilant police personnel, during which the accused were intercepted while traveling in a vehicle. Upon searching the vehicle, the police recovered 42 bottles of intoxicating drugs and a quantity of Charas. A detailed investigation and effective prosecution culminated in the court’s verdict, holding the accused guilty.
