Poonch, Jan 21: A tragic incident occurred on Tuesday in the remote Jandrola area of Block Sathra, Tehsil Mandi, Poonch district, where a mother and her child lost their lives in a gas cylinder explosion.
The incident happened while Shazia Akhtar, 28, was working in the kitchen. The gas cylinder suddenly exploded, resulting in the instant deaths of Shazia and her one-year-old child, news agency JKNS reported quoting an official as saying.
