Sopore, Jan 19: An encounter has started between terrorists and joint team of security forces in Gujarpatti Zaloora village of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district this evening.
Reports said that a cordon-and-search operation (CASO) was launched by joint team of security forces in Gujarpatti Zaloora village of Sopore after receiving inputs about the presence of terrorists in the area.
They said as the joint of security forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding terrorists fired upon them triggering an encounter.

Intermittent firing was going on, when this report was filed, and two terrorists are believed to be trapped.
