Srinagar, Oct 29: In a significant development for Jammu and Kashmir’s youth, Cabinet Minister Sakina Itoo announced the approval of 575 (+2) lecturer positions in various streams under the School Education Department.

The advertised positions will soon be referred to the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) for recruitment.

This move fulfills a promise made by Hon’ble Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to address youth unemployment, said Cabinet Minister Sakina Itoo on X.

Sakina Itoo shared the news on X (formerly Twitter), “We have started to fulfil the promise of Hon’ble CM Jb @OmarAbdullah Sb with regard to providing jobs to unemployed youth of J&K. I have approved the advertisement of 575 (+2) lecturers of different streams, in School Education Department. The posts are being referred to JKPSC.”
