Er Rashid’s Bail Plea Deferred by Patiala House Court; Next Hearing Set for Nov 19

New Delhi, Oct 28: The Patiala House Court in New Delhi has postponed its decision on the bail petition of Er Rashid, President of the Awami Ittehad Party (AIP) and Member of Parliament from Baramulla.

The court has scheduled the next hearing for November 19, 2024, extending Er Rashid’s wait for bail.

Rashid was arrested in 2019 by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act for a 2017 terror funding case.

Rashid was granted interim bail on September 7, which was extended until October 13 and later until October 28. NVI
