Srinagar, Aug 05: The body of man who was missing has been retrieved from river Jhelum in Panthachowk area of Srinagar this morning.
Reports said that the body of a man identified as Tariq Ahmad Sheikh, son of Mohammad Sultan Sheikh, a resident of Namlabal Pampore, who was missing since August 02 was retrieved from river Jhelum in Panthachowk this morning.
They said his body was shifted to hospital for medicolegal formalities.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.
