Srinagar, July 03: A youth drowned in Pohru Nallah in Sopore area of Baramulla district this afternoon.
Reports reaching Asian News Hub said that a youth identified as Ahtisham Shafi Lone, son of Mohammad Shafi Lone, a resident of Nathipora Sopore drowned in Pohru nallah this afternoon.
They said subsequently a joint rescue operation has been launched by SDRF and Sopore Police to retrieve his body.

Meanwhile, police station bomae has taken cognizance of the incident.
