Budgam, March 21: A Power Development Department (PDD) lineman died after he fell from an electric pole in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Thursday.
Reports reaching Asian News Hub said that a 35-year-old PDD lineman identified as Farooq Ahmad Wani, son of Ghulam Ahmad Wani, resident of Aripath Budgam was critically injured after he fell from electric pole during repairing of HT line in his native village.
They said he was rushed to nearby hospital, where he was shifted to SKIMS soura for advanced treatment, however, he succumbed to his injuries this afternoon.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and started investigation.
