Srinagar, Mar 01: The Traffic Police Srinagar City has initiated a departmental inquiry on Friday following a viral video depicting a physical altercation between a civilian and a traffic police officer in Jehangeer Chowk, prompting heightened scrutiny into the incident.
On its official X handle, Traffic Police Srinagar city said, “Incident in which A Driver was Asked To Remove His Vehicle From Main Road To Avoid Congestion, Led To Altercation And manhandling. Departmental Enquiry has been initiated To ascertain The facts. Action as per law shall be taken against the person found guilty.”
