Srinagar, Feb 7: Two Punjab residents were shot at in Shal Kadal area of Srinagar on Wednesday evening in which one died on spot while another was shifted to hospital in critical condition.
Quoting a top police officer news agency Kashmir Scroll reported that two Punjab residents were shot at by terrorists in Shal kadal area of Srinagar.
He said that sikh identified as Amrit Pal (31) from Amritsar Punjab died on the spot while Rohit Mashi (27) son of Prem Mashi resident of Punjab received bullet injury in abdomen who has been shifted to SMHS Srinagar in critical condition.
Meanwhile Kashmir Zone Police on its official X handle said, “#Terrorists fired upon a non-local identified as Amritpal Singh resident of Amritsar at Shaheed Gunj #Srinagar, who #succumbed to the injuries. One more person is grievously injured and evacuated for medical attention. Area has been #cordoned off. Further details shall follow.”
