Srinagar, Jan 11: Earthquake of magnitude 6.1 on ritcher scale struck Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan on Thursday with tremors felt across Jammu and Kashmir and many parts of north India.
“Earthquake of Magnitude:6.1, Occurred on 11-01-2024, 14:50:24 IST, Lat: 36.48 & Long: 70.45, Depth: 220 Km ,Location: Afghanistan,” National Center for Seismology said on its official X handle.
However, there were no immediate reports of any damage or loss of life reported anywhere.
