Srinagar police on Wednesday arrested man hailing from Ganderbal district for impersonating as doctor in LD hospital.

They identified the accused as Mohd Kifayat Rather S/o Ab Rashid Rather R/o Saloora Ganderbal.
Case under FIR no 42/2023 under relevant sections registered in Rajbagh police station.
Srinagar police on X said,”One Mohd Kifayat Rather S/o Ab Rashid Rather R/o Saloora Ganderbal arrested for impersonating as Fake doctor in LD hospital. FIR no 42/2023 under relevant sections registered in Rajbagh PS.”
This arrest comes in the wake of a previous incident in which the imposter was able to get unauthorized entrance to the labor room of Srinagar’s Lal Ded maternity hospital and pretended to be a Cardiologist.
