One Army man died while another was injured as service rifle of the Army man accidentally went off in Bapora area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Sunday.

Bandipora police on X informed, “There has been an accidental discharge of weapon resulting in one fatal casuality and one injury to army personnel. Accussed army personnel has been detained. Necessary legal action has been initiated.”
