An elderly woman was killed in a hit-and-run case in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday morning.

An official told an elderly woman was critically injured after she was hit by unknown motorcyclist in Nadihal area this morning.
He said, after the incident she was shifted to GMC Baramulla for treatment, where she succumbed to her injuries.
The deceased woman has been identified as Fatha Begum wife of Mohammad Sultan War, a resident of Nadihal.
Meanwhile police have taken cognizance and started investigation. KS
