A teenage boy died after being stabbed by a juvenile near chinar bagh in Dalgate area of Srinagar, meanwhile police have arrested the accused.
Reports reaching Asian News Hub (ANH) said that a teenage boy identified as Burhan Nasir, son of Nasir Ahmad, a resident of Konkhan Dalgate, was stabbed by a juvenile near Chinar bagh this afternoon.
They said he was shifted to SMHS hospital for treatment, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Meanwhile, Srinagar Police swung into the action and arrested the accused within no time and weapon of offence was also recovered.
Srinagar police on X informed, “One juvenile( name withheld) apprehended for stabbing & murdering a 15 year old boy in chinar bagh area. Weapon of offence also recovered on instance of the accused, this knife was thrown by accused in marshy area after the crime. FIR no 36/2023 registered in Kothibagh PS.”
