A man from Hyderabad was on a date with his lover when he tragically perished after falling from a building’s terrace. On Sunday, the incident took place in Hyderabad’s Borabanda neighborhood.
Around midnight, 20-year-old Shoaib went on a date with his girlfriend, taking her out for pizza. The pair soon heard footsteps and thought the girl’s father was approaching. Shoaib fled to the edge of the roof to hide when they started to get terrified. According to authorities, he slipped while attempting to grab hold of some dangling cables.
Unfortunately, he suffered several injuries to his head after falling off from the fourth floor of the building and succumbed to them, they added.
Shoaib fell around 3 AM and was rushed to Osmania Hospital where he was declared dead at 5.30 AM.
Shoaib’s father has filed a complaint with the police alleging foul play in his son’s death. Meanwhile, Borabanda police is investigating if he jumped from the roof or accidentally slipped.
