An earthquake of magnitude 5.8 on ritcher scale struck hindu kush mountain region in Afghanistan, tremors were felt in many parts of Pakistan, north India including Kashmir.

According to MeT Centre Srinagar, the earthquake struck Hindu kush region in Afghanistan at 09:31 PM (IST) at a depth of 181 km.
Tremors were felt in many parts of Pakistan and North India including Kashmir. There was no loss of life, property reported in Kashmir till this report was filed in.
