A casual labourer working in Beacon died in a road mishap in Uri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday evening.

Reports reaching Asian News Hub (ANH) said that Ghulam Hassan Naik, resident of Garkote Uri, sustained head injury after he fell from a tipper near Red Bridge in Uri.
Following the incident, he was rushed to SDH Uri for treatment, where from he was shifted to GMC Baramulla for specialised treatment. However, he succumbed to his injuries, they said.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident, and the deceased is said to be a casual labourer in Beacon, reports added.
