A Special Police Officer (SPO) of Traffic department and a civillian were killed, while tipper driver was injured in a road accident in Maloora area of Shalteng in Srinagar outskirts.

Reports reaching Asian News Hub (ANH) said that a speedy truck ran out of control, skidded off the road and turned turtle, resulting in injuries to three persons in Maloora area of Shalteng this afternoon.
They said all the injured were shifted to JVC hospital Bemina for treatment. However, two among injured identified as SPO Zahoor Ahmad, resident of Hanjiwara Pattan and Javaid Ahmad Bhat, resident of Maloora were declared brought dead.
Meanwhile, Medical Superintendent at JVC hospital Dr Shafa Deva confirmed the death of two persons to Asian News Hub and said that the condition of injured identified as Mohammad Yousuf Bhat, a tipper driver, resident of Pulwama is stable.
Police have registered a case in this regard and further investigations are underway.
