Two persons died while another was critically injured after lightning struck forest area of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.

Reports reaching Asian News Hub (ANH) lightning struck the Patli forest area of Kotranka sub-division in which three men fell unconscious with critical injuries.
The injured identified as Zafar Iqbal, Showkat Ali and Faiz Ahmad were taken to medical facility for treatment.
However, Zafar Iqbal and Faiz Ahmad were declared brought dead on arrival. Meanwhile, Showkat Ali has been referred to Government Medical College Rajouri for specialised treatment, they said.
