The Waqf board has directed for special engagement of Haafiz-e-Quraan Imams, and Khateebs
for the holy month of Ramadan.

The Incharge Auqaf Section J&K Waqf Board Sonwar, in an order, a copy of which lies with Asian News Hub (ANH) reads that as already instructed by the Chairperson, special engagement of Haafiz-e-Quraan Imams, and khateebs, is to be made
immediately to the satisfaction of the general public and devotees.
“Accordingly, you are hereby directed to obtain detailed proposal from concerned Administrators and submit a consolidated proposal to the undersigned for perusal & approval of the Hon’ble Chairperson. The Administrators be informed to consult the present Imams/ Khateebs & other stakeholders, before submitting proposal in this regard,” it added.
