Four arrested for assaulting, looting man in Srinagar: police

Srinagar police on Thursday said to have arrested four persons for assaulting, looting a man in Buchpora area of Srinagar.

They said that Muhaib Ahmad Wani resident of Buchpora reported that 4 persons have assaulted him and looted Rs 60,000.

In this context a case under FIR No 06/2023 was registered in Ahmednagar police station and four accused identified as Javaid wani resident of Buchpora, Ishfaq Shah, Oman Riyaz Wagay, Shahid Rafiq Wagay residents of Zakura were arrested and looted money was recovered from their possession.

Srinagar police in a tweet said, “One Muhaib Ahmad Wani of Buchpora reported that 4 persons have assaulted him & looted Rs 60,000.Javaid wani of Buchpora & Ishfaq Shah, Oman Riyaz Wagay, Shahid Rafiq Wagay (these three from Zakoora). FIR No 06/2023 registered in Ahmednagar PS, accused arrested & money recovered.”

One Muhaib Ahmad Wani of Buchpora reported that 4 persons have assaulted him & looted Rs 60,000.
