Locals in Sopore town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district have voluntarily handed over at least 81 Kanals of state land to the authorities, officials said here on Saturday.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) the locals have handed over at least 81 Kanals of state land to the government in Humlina locality.
He said the land has now been handed over to Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council.
