Renowned Kashmiri poet Prof. Rehman Rahi dies at the age of 97 years, reports said.
Prof. Rehman was awarded the highest literary award in India, the Jnanpith Award in 2007. Sahitya Academi Award , the Padma Shri in 2000.
He was the first Kashmiri writer to be awarded with the Jnanpith award.
