Minor girl allegedly kidnapped, sexually assualted in Srinagar, accused arrested: Police

Srinagar, Oct 29: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday said to have arrested a person for allegedly kidnapping, sexually assaulting a minor girl in Srinagar.

“A minor girl of around 13 years (name withheld) was kidnapped & sexually assaulted by one Adil Shafi Hajam (21 yrs) S/o Md Shafi Hajam R/o Syed colony,Nishat. FIR No 61/22 U/s 366, 376 IPC & 3/4 POCSO Act reg. at Rajbagh PS. Special team was constituted & the accused was arrested,” Srinagar Police tweeted.
