Srinagar, Sept14: Srinagar Development Authority (SDA) today launched an e-service through which the allottees of SDA properties can pay their monthly dues online.

The service was inaugurated by the Vice Chairman SDA, Haris Ahmad Handoo in presence of other officers of SDA, ICICI Regional Head, Manager and few other employees.

ICICI Bank has enabled this service for the Land Management Wing of SDA.

The service called “SDA Tenant Rent Collection Portal” was launched on trial basis for one commercial property of SDA and when successfully tested shall be used for rent collection of approximately 3500 shops and 45 commercial complexes developed by SDA in Srinagar.

The Vice Chairman, SDA informed that this service includes SMS and e-billing services for rent realization from the SDA shopkeepers which shall enable the shopkeepers for making payment through various online payment modes like Net banking, debit card, credit card etc.

He said this shall bring greater transparency, accuracy and accountability in the system which is the goal of e-governance and digitalization of government services.
