Srinagar, Aug 28: A lady died while her husband was critically injured in a road accident Sumbal area of Bandipora district, reports said.

Reports reaching The Asian News Hub (ANH) said that Syed Mohammad Shah (40) and his wife Gowhara (35) resident of Dab Ganderbal were critically injured after scooty they were travelling on was hit by oil tanker in Sumbal area of Bandipora district.
They said that Gowhara died on spot, where as her husband was shifted to CHC Wakura for treatment.

Meanwhile police has registered a case in this regard and driver of oil tanker has been arrested, reports added.
