Srinagar, June 19: Srinagar resident among two militants were killed in a gunfight at Damhal hanjipora (DH Pora) area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district, Inspector General of Police said.
He identified the slain militants as Haris Sharief resident of Srinagar (LeT C category) and Zakir Padder resident of Kulgam (JeM C category).
Quoting Inspector General of Police, Vijay Kumar, Kashmir Zone Police tweeted, “KulgamEncounterUpdate: Sofar, 02 killed terrorists identified as Haris Sharief of Srinagar (LeT C category) & Zakir Padder of Kulgam (JeM C cat). Operation in progress.”
