Srinagar, May 19 (ANH): Jammu and Kashmir Police have arrested 04 Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) militants and an associate within 36 hours, involved in a grenade attack on a wine shop in Baramulla on Tuesday evening.

Quoting Inspector General Of Police Vijay Kumar, Kashmir Zone Police tweeted, “Baramulla Police cracked the case of recent terror attack on wine shop. 04 terrorists & 1 associate of LeT outfit arrested. 5 pistols, 23 grenades, explosive recovered. This terror module was involved in several terror incidents in Baramulla. Investigation going on”.

It is pertinent to mention that four employees of the said wine shop received splinter injuries in the attack. All the injured were immediately shifted to nearby hospital, however, one among the injured identified as Ranjit Singh son of Kishan Lal resident of Bakra Rajouri succumbed to his injuries. The other injured employees have been identified as Govardhan Singh son of Bijendra Singh, Ravi Kumar son of Kartar Singh, both residents of Billawar Kathua and Govind Singh son of Gurdev Singh resident of Kangra Rajouri.
