Kupwara, May 08 (ANH): A 65-year-old man succumbed to injuries after being fatally hit by a tractor at Doonwari area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district this evening.

Reports reaching GNS said that one Ghulam Mohammad Ganaie son of Ghulam Ahmad Ganaie, resident of Kantpora Lolab was hit by an unidentified tractor, leaving him with serious injuries. The elderly man was evacuated to SDH Kupwara for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries soon after.
Confirming the incident, a police official told GNS that the tractor has been seized. “The accused however managed to flee from the scene before the arrival of police team”, the official further said.
